Ssurians (or great dragons) were major reptilian predators on the planet Dathomir (LadyVader). Their hides were so thick and their teeth so sharp that most creatures would simply avoid them rather than fight. The Scream of the Ssurian, a powerful Nightsister spell, allowed its caster to reproduce the great dragon's hunting call and territorial warning. Like all reptiles, the Ssurians were cold-blooded vertebrates.
